How to talk them into setting up without paying them too much

This is actually something that is not too hard to do. Here is how to use each leverage to get them to work for you:

  • Money: if the person is only interested in money, the way to recruit him is the easiest one. Explain to them what a SNKRS draw is, that it takes 5 minutes of their time, and that they can get up to 100 bucks if they win the draw. Insist on the fact that they don’t get any money out of their pocket and tell them the hourly wage it corresponds to (which should be an amount they’ll probably won’t ever get, even if you pay them 20 for 5 minutes of their time).

  • Services: if you are able to provide services other than sneaker related (discounts somewhere, referral for a job, …), use these to get them into your minion team. You can also say that once they have won 4-5 pairs, they’ll have the right to claim an upcoming shoe for retail from you (they’ll probably never reach the 4-5 pairs)

What is very important is that you emphasize on the simplicity of the process (they don’t have to think about anything, they’ll just receive a message which will give them all the instructions needed, no questions, no hassle for them) and state that you’ll accompany them in each of the steps that gets them setup for working for you.

So at this point, accompany them in creating their account from their phone, entering all their data with you, setting up biometric authentication, and finally setting up your own credit card into the account. Once everything is set up explain thoroughly what the typical snkrs drop are: DAN, LEO, Pass and Stash. And now (and just now !) explain that most of the time, even if they win, they'll usually get around 20-50 bucks, because "Most pairs aren’t worth that much and hey, in the end you're just getting a package that I'm coming to pick up !". Some people won't want to do it at first. But the more their entourage does it and gets money without doing nothing, the more they'll be eager to be part of it because "shit man, I want my slice of the cake !". And that's how you get a simp army.
